Weatherization Department

The Weatherization Department is grant funded to work in the City of Tucson and the City of South Tucson to assist home owners in reducing their energy use.

This is an income based program. At the scheduled intake appointment, applicants need to bring in proof of income, bank statements, birth certificate, deed to the home and other documentation.

After completing the paperwork, the home is assessed for eligibility using diagnostic equipment. Our funds allow us to seal ducts, upgrade old appliances and put insulation in attics.

Monday - Friday 7 p.m. to 3:30

Weatherization applications may be picked up at the Tucson Urban League Main Office, 2305 S. Park Avenue, Tucson, 85713.
