Tucson’s Current Housing Market:
Interest rates are the lowest they have been in over forty years. Home prices however, are steadily increasing. Home prices are rising at an average rate of 6% per year in most neighborhoods.

The time to buy is now! Take that first step toward home ownership now! Attend our free orientation (see information on this page)

Home Purchasing Financial Assistance is available for those who qualify. Through Federal, State, and local sponsored programs the Tucson Urban League is able to help “close the financial gap” that can prevent home ownership.

Our staff is committed to assisting potential homeowners and homeowners reach their goal of the American Dream.

Face-To-Face Counseling

If you are at least 62 years old and have a low or no outstanding mortgage debt, Reverse Mortgage programs may be the answer to your financial needs!  Have you considered that the amount you are currently paying for rent could possibly be more than enough for a mortgage payment?

Maybe you know you are ready to purchase your first home but you just don’t know where or how to start the process?  Do you need to Refinance your current mortgage? These are questions that the Home Start Quick Start Programs will help you answer.

TUL Affordable Housing Team will help you reach your goal of self-sufficiency through education and training in Budgeting, Credit Management, Financial Planning, Loan Process, Fair Housing and other issues related to successful home ownership.
